1. When will Manorhouse be open?                                                                                                                   

Our assisted living, memory care and independent living cottages are all expected to open in June, 2017.

2. How many apartments and suites are planned?

Manorhouse will offer 63 assisted living apartments, 28 memory care suites and 10 independent living cottages that are 2 Bedroom/2 Bath/1 Car Garage. There will also be 9 age restricted single family custom homes.

3. What are the fees?

Unlike many senior living communities, Manorhouse does not require large up-front fees. Our monthly rates are very competitive for a first class senior living community in the far west end of Richmond. Please contact us for additional information.

4. Will there be a Licensed Nurse available?

Yes, there will be Licensed nurses at the community 24 hours each day. All of our residents will have the peace of mind of having an emergency call system, and a nurse who will respond at any time of the day or night.

5. Will there be a pharmacy or clinic on site?

While we will not have a pharmacy on site, we will partner with a local pharmacy that will make daily deliveries of medications. Our nursing staff will communicate with the pharmacist and prescribing physician, managing this process so that the proper plan of care is followed. We will have a clinic/wellness center in our assisted living community where physicians, podiatrists, rehab therapists and other medical professionals can see residents. We will also be offering complimentary transportation services for those residents who prefer to see their personal physician in the area.

6. Can I put down a deposit to be on the pre-opening priority list?

We are now accepting deposits (no large fees) that will establish priority selection of floor plan and location. In the event that your personal circumstances change, the assisted living/memory care accommodation deposits will be refundable at any time, for any reason, prior to move-in. Due to high demand, a portion of the independent living cottage deposit may not be refundable. All deposits will be applied to the first month’s rent.

7. What are the advantages of the pre-opening priority list?

By making a fully-refundable deposit for the priority list, you will have the first opportunity to apply, make priority selection of floor plans, and have your choice of the apartment locations within the community.

8. What services are available to the independent cottage residents?

Independent living is designed to provide a low-maintenance lifestyle and will provide all utilities, maintenance, housekeeping, and trash removal. Additionally, cottage residents will have access to Manorhouse’s recreational activities, outings, social events, transportation, health/wellness events, and restaurant-style dining options.

9. Can I move from the independent living cottages to assisted living if and when I need it?

Independent living cottage and single family residents will always have a priority for any availability in our assisted living or memory care accommodations.

10. Will the houses have garages?

The independent living cottages will have one car garages; the single family homes will offer two car garages.

11. Will there be convenient parking available?

Ample parking will be close and convenient for assisted living, memory care and independent living. Handicapped parking will be available at the main entrance.
